The Post-Bedtime Tinkerer is one parent's workshop, written up after the kids are asleep. Everything here started as something I needed myself — a way to plan track layouts before buying more pieces, a box with three buttons so a two-year-old could drive a train without asking for help every five minutes.
None of it is a business, exactly. The planner is free and always will be. The Train Box was a birthday present before it was anything else, and it's still not for sale — if that ever changes, this page will say so.
Everything's built the way it's used: after bedtime, one small fix at a time, mostly because I wanted it to exist and couldn't find it anywhere else.
